Penylan Cottage's restoration project took over two years once deciding to transform

it from a neglected, overgrown shell to a three bedroomed luxury home. Situated

in the beautiful welsh countryside, historically, it was used as a carpenters workshop,

but for many years had sat empty with its only visitors being spiders and nesting birds.

It is situated overlooking the stunning Cych Valley where the view of three counties

(Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire) can be enjoyed. The barn comfortably

sleeps six and boasts contemporary open plan living with large bi-folding doors

leading out onto a spacious terrace where those breath taking views can be appreciated

whilst soaking up the welsh sun. An additional chill-out room can be found at the far

end of the barn where you can sit and enjoy a mug of coffee, snuggled up, stroking

your dog or relax with a cold glass of bubbles, the external door open, listening

to the beautiful birdsong. 

The barn is surrounded by 1/4 of an acre of private garden which has been designed

with thought and care to cater for couples, friends and families alike. So, whether its a

glass of red and a natter round the fire-pit, bouncing high on the sunken trampoline

enjoying quality time with your children or taking the opportunity to enjoy peace

and quiet while watching and listening to the wildlife this is somewhere for you.
